Cake smash shoots are best at the studio, because who wants lots of squished up cake splatted around their home!!  The first half of the shoot would be a portrait session, so arrive with a favourite outfit for your child, and the shoot can be either baby alone or with their siblings/parents, so you can choose which backdrop you would like for pre cake session first.

Then the second half- cake smashing! Due to this being messy haha you can get your baby changed into their cake smash outfit for some smashing fun! Something like just a nappy with shorts, a tutu, dungarees works great!  I ask you to bring along your own squidgy cake, the supermarkets all have great ones for around £12. There are 4 different options for cake smash props, pink props, blue props or multi coloured or no props!

So just choose your backdrop for pre cake shots, and cake shots (can be two different backdrops or the same for both) and your props, your welcome to bring along any addition prop items as well if you have something in mind!

How it works

Shoots are up to a 45mins long and provide a large selection of images, I charge a shoot fee which is £39 for a studio shoot at the space in Bicknacre Chelmsford or a location shoot outside (possibly plus travel if your further away)

Because I like to keep things relaxed and never any pressure sales, after your proofs are ready they would be available for you to view in your own time at home in a password protected gallery in the Client Area .
